The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu wants government workers to decrease their work burden through better implementation of technological solutions. The Chief Minister demanded training programs which would boost technology knowledge and he required ongoing system assessment work.
Decision-Making Needs Technology as Its Central Element
- The Chief Minister made these remarks during a review meeting on the Real-Time Governance System (RTGS) at his camp office on Monday. The official explained that technology provides solutions for many problems which governments face. Officials and employees should be encouraged to use technology extensively.
- Chandrababu Naidu showed how AI technology improves all activities which government agencies perform when he presented his case. He recommended using AI to handle complaints which required fast solutions. He stated that data-based decision-making approaches should become more common in government operations throughout the current year.
Current Technology Initiatives
- The Chief Minister learned from officials that 878 department services of different departments now operate through Manamitra - WhatsApp Governance. The user base for these services reached 1.43 crore which includes users who accessed the services.
- The Chief Minister evaluated departmental activities which included medical services, agricultural services, revenue collection, road maintenance, RTA operations, and fire service functions.
Republic Day Celebrations at Undavalli
- The Chief Minister's Undavalli camp office hosted Republic Day celebrations on Monday. Chandrababu Naidu raised the national flag and honored Mahatma Gandhi and B.R. Ambedkar by laying flower garlands on their portraits. The police provided him with a military guard of respect.
- The Chief Minister also distributed sweet boxes personally to the police, security personnel, and office staff.
