CM Revanth Reddy Appeals For Cooperative Resolution Of Water Disputes

The Chief Minister of Telangana, Revanth Reddy, has asked that the conflict about water between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh be resolved without resorting to politics or courts. He reminded that the Congress party had given the statehood of Telangana to the purpose of avoiding the clash between the two states.

Call for Amicable Resolution

At the inauguration of Sujen Medicare in Raviryal, Ranga Reddy district, CM Revanth raised the issue of using cooperation instead of conflict. He declared that Telangana puts access to water and practical solutions above disputes or political victories.

He made a direct reference to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and asked him to facilitate the speedy approval of Krishna River projects that were in place during the time of the united state. He pointed out that the delays in these projects are blocking the flow of central government funds to Telangana, thus creating a financial problem.

Focus on Cooperation

CM Revanth said that there is only one way to partnership and that is through cooperation. He further said Telangana does not want any disputes with Andhra Pradesh or with any other neighboring states like Karnataka, Maharashtra, or Tamil Nadu. He made it clear that if Andhra Pradesh took one step towards resolution, Telangana would take two and go even further.

Economic Development and Employment

The Chief Minister drew the attention of the public to the role of Sujen Medicare in providing job opportunities for the local young people. He mentioned that the government of Telangana is making efforts to attract investments and to compete with the global cities in creating a business-friendly environment. CM Revanth also pointed out that the state has an investment-friendly atmosphere and a solid executive leadership from local CEOs to drive the growth of the sector.
