Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, claimed that the government had honored its commitment to the farmers by distributing new pattadar passbooks which contained the state emblem. He mentioned that the farmers had been performing their duties right through the COVID-19 pandemic and had thus provided food for all.
The CM visited Rayavaram in East Godavari district to participate in a pattadar passbook distribution event. While addressing the farmers, he raised the question of why the previous government had the former Chief Minister Jagan's picture printed on land documents. He remarked that the past government was using wrong methods and taking decisions that would create long-term problems.
CM Chandrababu referred to it during the election campaign, when his party had the slogan “Your land is your right”. He pointed out that the government gave farmers passing the state emblem only on the land passbooks. He affirmatively said that this commitment has been fulfilled now.
CM Chandrababu declared that all problems regarding 22-A lands were being wiped out. Moreover, he assured that farmers’ land records would be kept in a very secure manner through the use of blockchain technology. He added
