Lokesh Calls For Faster Campaign Efforts And Party Unity

Lokesh, TDP General Secretary and Minister, called on party leaders and workers to accelerate their efforts in view of the upcoming elections. He asserted that the party had a clear agenda, with one leader, the president of the party, N. Chandrababu Naidu. He characterized each party member as a part of a single team that is striving to win the elections.

Meeting with Party Office Bearers

  • On Thursday, Lokesh convened a meeting at his home in Undavalli with the newly appointed heads of the parliamentary party, general secretaries, and zonal coordinators. He stated that he would always be available to the party workers and would assist them in their duties.
  • According to Lokesh, if party programs are implemented effectively, it will result in winning all constituencies. He gave the party’s win in Mangalagiri as a case in point. He pointed out that the chairpersons of parliamentary parties and general secretaries should perform their functions with discipline and dedication.

Performance Review and Accountability

  • Lokesh announced that reviews of performances would occur every quarter. This system will also be applied to the state committee. He remarked that some decisions might be wrong but should be reviewed and amended quickly.
  • He pointed out that party president Chandrababu Naidu had made all the appointments and that party orders must be observed very closely. In the case of problems, the leaders should take the blame and effort to solve them.

Coordination and Organizational Structure

  • Lokesh gave orders to the leaders that they should be in close contact with the ministers in charge, MLAs, and zonal coordinators. He said that it is their duty to make sure that there are public meetings and meetings of party workers in the constituencies regularly.
  • In addition, he commanded that the entire processing of party committees, from district to cluster, unit, booth, and affiliated organizations, should be done without delay. It was decided to conduct review meetings with MLAs, in-charge persons, and mandal presidents as per the party schedule.

Long-Term Alliance and Party Strengthening

Lokesh promised to devote all his time to the party. He invited all the partners in the alliance to come together and proposed monthly coordination meetings with the leaders of the alliance. He mentioned that the alliance should share the same road for the next 15 years.

Recognition, Technology, and Outreach

  • Lokesh stated that the party shows respect to all the workers and also recognizes the ones who are high performers. He also made it known that the committed party workers have been assigned to the nominated posts. He urged the members to enhance their use of technology and to take on board the suggestions gotten through the My TDP app.
  • He requested the leaders to liaise with the ministers assigned and bring the administrative matters to be addressed at the district level. He referred to the party workers as the bedrock of the organization and underlined the fact that even at the age of 75, Chandrababu Naidu has not lost his connection with workers.
  • Lokesh pointed out the need to strengthen party programs, make social media a major channel, and get ready for the membership drive scheduled for next year.

The meeting was attended by state president of the party Palla Srinivas Rao, zonal coordinators including Manthena Satyanarayana Raju, Bhumireddy Ramgopal Reddy, Beeda Ravichandra Yadav, Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, Deepak Reddy, Kovelamudi Ravindra, Vepada Chiranjeevi Rao, Mandalapu Ravi, and Pellakuru Srinivas Reddy, along with other party leaders.
